Photographer 'Hajira Ahmad'

Hajira Ahmad is a freelance photographer specialising in creative photography with a difference. Hajira brings to her work natural creativity as well as her technical expertise as a photographer. She graduated with a BA(hons) in Photography & Digital Arts and has been awarded an Associateship to The Royal Photographic Society.

She has received diplomas from The Beauty Training Centre and London Esthetique in ‘Theory and practice of make- up artistry'.

Hajira has always been fascinated by the effect of make-up and colour on the face. “I am a believer in experimenting with colour: sometimes a new approach can create the most successful results”

Hajira believes in relaxing and bringing out the best in her clients, and said “I feel that the relationship between the subject and the photographer is a key to successful portraits” As what shows up in the photograph is how relaxed the subject is, which is impossible to achieve, if the subject is not at ease.

Hajira recently held a solo exhibition of her work at Westwood Gallery, a very reputable Art gallery in NY, which made her the youngest and first Pakistani female photographer to be represented by a NY gallery.
